GOOSEBERRY
SPECIES: sprout (by quislings@dA)
NAMES/NICKNAMES: she doesn't have a set name, you can call her Gooseberry, Berry, Goose, Pupa, Uoga (last two names are Lithuanian words for Pea and Berry respectively, pronounciation might not match the English one) GENDER: Genderless (she/they) APPEARANCE: as big as a regular gooseberry, physically weak, doesn't have any limbs, the leaves she has under her head work more like a dress. LIKES: warm summer days, quietness and dancing to songs played by frogs and bugs in the evening STORY: The garden where she lives belong to an old retired lady. The gooseberry bushes were the main attraction of the place because her son really like them! However, now the bushes are in a forgotten corner of the garden, not touched for years as the son is all grown up and moved on to adult life. Although the lady likes to gaze at the bushes and remember the good ol' days, she doesn't touch them. But the bushes seem to be living fine oh their own! Every season the gooseberry sprout comes back to life to enjoy peace and quietness in the bush, keeping it alive and nurtured. The gooseberry sprout doesn't hold a grudge against the old lady either, she understands the lady's nostalgic bond with the bush and and is glad that she keeps it instead of digging it out. |
