Mina
NICKNAME: On the streets she is also known as Peach
AGE: Early twenties GENDER: Female SEXUALITY: Bisexual HEIGHT: 178cm OCCUPATION: Leader of an all-girl gang who assist women getting back home safely from nights out, random part-time jobs. FAMILY: Mother and father, both working low income jobs at Mina's small home town. She has a little sister who goes to middle school. PERSONALITY: Very nurturing and caring, has major mood swings and may become aggressive easily, on rare occasions physical. Painfully homesick. She tends to appear naive but does so consciously for first appearances, she doesn't like to be read or analysed. DIET AND FOOD: Vegetarian. Absolutely hates the smell of fish and doesn't go anywhere near it. Her guilty pleasure is noodles and exotic fruit. She is allergic to nuts. HISTORY: Many of her friends in high school influenced her decision to leave the boring small town they are from to live the big life in the big city. She was excited for a while, having been tired of the dullness but in the end she found herself in a nearby city where none of her friends ended up going. She was stuck all alone. Mina got into college but dropped out a few months into the first year. Her homesickness got way over her, she could not manage supporting herself all alone both financially and emotionally. She missed everything, her friends, family, fresh air, nature, space, the clear starry night skies... Her parents are still not aware of it, Mina cannot take the thought of defeat and letting her parents and herself down. She is not brave enough to step down and come back to her family to the place she feels she belongs in the most, so since dropping out she tried applying to short vocational evening courses and classes which never really worked out. She takes up odd and part-time jobs to pay the rent, they led her to the gang she is in right now as some of her coworkers were members. She finally felt like she was a part of a community, as if she belonged. She worked for the gang like there was no tomorrow, it helped to keep her mind off her major problems. And she was so good and hardworking she actually got to the very top. |
